I'm going to be editing various anime clips via an app called alight motion. I typically do this as a hobby but I realized I can turn this into a project and receive some design and creation skills.
What do you want to get out of this project?
Since it's the summer, I wanted to do a lighter project, yet I also wanted to turn something I do for fun into something which I can receive credit for. My goal would to be to complete 3 edits before the end of the project cycle. Since I do not have access to a pc, I am unable to utilize better editing softwares such as after effects or blender. Yet my goal is to create a finished product with a quality end result so that it "Looked" as if I edited on a pc instead of a mobile device.
where did the skills go? we are taking skills out of the idea generation process, in an attempt to make projects more career-focused. If you want to get leveled-up for a project, share it with the appropriate guide or faculty member for feedback upon completion.
Turn your idea above into a guiding question.
Check out some resources on how to write a guiding question here.
How can I utilize, keyframes, masking, vfx, and animation to create visually appealing edits? How can I use my knowledge of design and creation to present a "tutorial" or explanation of my project to my peers?

Was your project meaningful?
Did this project matter? In what ways did it further your knowledge, force you to grow, or provide something useful?
Yes, it invoked me to pursue something I enjoy while learning about design and creation skills, allowing creativity to flourish.
Was your project ambitious?
Given what you already know, did this project challenge you in meaningful ways?
It was, for brainstorming ideas and executing them within the given time requires good planning and skill.
Was your project deep?
Did your project engage with powerful ideas or tools? Additionally, did you engage with the material in a deep sense (i.e. did you develop ownership over the ideas or tools)? Can you utilize these skills independently now?
Yes, because in order to create a finished project with the level of quality I produced using the limited tool set I have requires a deep and thorough understanding of the software and editing.
