Checkpoint 5:

What did you learn about yourself from this project?

πŸ“Ž
Did you spark a new interest? Perhaps you realized that you didn't like this field after all. Just tell us what you discovered about yourself through this project!

Learning about the skin and how it works was dually interesting to me - not only is it important knowledge to have when formulating, but it was also a part of the body's anatomy that I had not previously studied. I am now even more excited to begin the actual act of formulating.

What did you learn academically from this project?

πŸ“Ž
Take the skills you aligned to this project and show us how you applied them. Was there anything else you learned along the way?

What advice would you give to someone starting a similar project?

πŸ“Ž
Was there a particularly helpful book, website, or resource? Or, perhaps you realized the scope of the project was too large because of an unforeseen constraint. Whatever the advice, give it here!

If you're working on a course with a lot of resources, make sure you aren't overlooking any. I was done with the module worksheets when I realized I had to go back and read through several sets of multiple-page Course Notes.

🌹What did you enjoy most about this project? πŸ₯€What didn't go well in this project? 🌱What will you do differently next time?

🌹: Actually learning the material.

πŸ₯€: Because the course materials were locked to me until I started working on them, I didn't really know what I was going to be learning, and actually filled out a couple of my early project pages inaccurately (I thought I was going to be learning about sourcing ingredients instead of the structure of the skin).

🌱: I'm going to actually start the material before planning out my final work product, so I can more accurately predict what I will be learning.

What advice or feedback do you have for the Sora team?

πŸ“Ž
Was there anything particularly cumbersome or challenging this go-around? Any ideas to make projects run smoother for new students?

I really did appreciate the heightened structure of the project cycle, but I did feel like I spent more time on the project pages/planning than I did on the actual work/learning.
